General Therapy Questions

What can I expect in my first therapy session?

Your first session will focus on getting to know you, discussing your concerns, and setting goals for therapy. It’s a safe space to share your experiences at your own pace.

How long are therapy sessions?

Your first session is typically around an hour, and subsequent sessions between 30 minutes to an hour based on needs.

How often should I attend therapy?

The frequency of sessions varies based on your individual needs. Some clients attend weekly, while others may schedule biweekly or monthly sessions.

​How long does therapy last?

Therapy is different for everyone. Some people see progress in a few months, while others continue therapy for longer-term support. We’ll work together to determine what’s best for you.

Payment & Insurance

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We accept Aetna, Aetna EAP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Cigna EAP. Please check with your provider for coverage details.

​What if I don’t have insurance?

We offer flexible self-pay options to ensure accessible and affordable care.

Confidentiality & Privacy

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, your privacy is our priority. Everything discussed in therapy is confidential, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law.

​Can I request faith-based counseling?

Absolutely! If you’d like to incorporate Christian counseling into your sessions, we can integrate biblical principles with therapeutic approaches.

How do I book an appointment?

You'll start off with a free 15min consultation which you book here.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be subject to a fee.
